Agloco toolbar experience (1)

I installed the Agloco toolbar yesterday and today I noticed a shortcut icon had appeared on my desktop.  Later this afternoon I decided to check what was happening with Agloco and I realised the Agloco toolbar was not visible on me screen.  I found that I actually needed to log in to Agloco to enable the toolbar to show and start accruing credits. When I made a couple of searches through the Agloco toolbar the results showed in Internet Explorer, although I use Firefox.

Agloco Update

I received an email from Agloco today, entitled ‘100 day report to Members’. That 100 days has gone by quickly! Here is what they had to report:

Continued growth of the AGLOCO network - February was a record month of new Members joining (and last week was a record week) Several enhancements to the AGLOCO website including a Member blog page. Very active company blog site for up to date Member communication. Viewbar software team (now seven engineers in Shanghai) is making steady progress. - Release of the software will be announced with both an email as well as a notice on the AGLOCO website.

Watch this space?? I really hope the backers of Agloco can make the site go live, otherwise Agloco could turn out to be the biggest bubble of internet history so far.

Agloco Toolbar by Easter?

There is till no exact date for release of the Agloco toolbar. I checked the company website today and this is the latest news:

‘I know that the Viewbar will not be released in the first half of March. Our tech lead flew to Shanghai this morning to work directly with our six engineers there. I’ll give you more of an update when I hear back from him. Regarding your comments about giving an exact date for the Viewbar release: I cannot give an exact date. Again, a few weeks ago I posted about our plan for a March release, and we have also posted various notes including ‘scheduled for a Spring release’ and ‘coming in a few weeks’ (that last one has been up for a few weeks). The March target, and all the dates we have projected for the Viewbar release, have been based solely upon our Engineers’ best estimates. I have asked our head techie for a firmer date, but he hasn’t given one to me. If I press him, he can give me an estimate, but he cannot be sure. Anyone who has worked with software engineers knows that they don’t like giving estimates because they know problems come up all the time in software development. For instance, we could give you an exact date only to get a bug in the last day of QA that would blow up that date. When we started the Viewbar software we had one engineer working on it. We now have six. We have incentive - we know that the Viewbar release is the real launch of AGLOCO.

Well I think the rest of us already worked that last point out!! There are 25 days left in March and I do like a bet occasionally as you will see from this blog. If I were to place a bet online regarding the chances of seeing the viewbar in March I think I would ‘lay’ - bet that it won’t happen …..

Agloco Update 7 February

Good news on Agloco: Brian Greenwald, of the Agloco development team, has promised to check with the AGLOCO software team for an update on progress with the Viewbar. He hopes to get a firmer launch date before the middle of February. In the meantime, more and more poeple realise they should get on board so they can get a share of the passive income earnings and virtual real estate promised by Agloco.

Agloco wealth creation for financial independence

This is why I am recommending strongly that you get your name down for AgLoco immediately. It will cost you nothing, and if the founders get it right, you can create wealth simply by browsing the internet as normal with the Agloco safe surfing viewbar:

During the last ten years, the Internet has spawned a new economy: one where users create tremendous economic value but hardly get anything in return. With AGLOCO we want to change that thinking. We hope that all companies that depend on its users will eventually believe in what we do – The Members should share the value they generate for the company. We believe that AGLOCO will be a success if we can change the entrepreneurial mindset on the Internet. Instead of only looking for ways users can help them build the company, future entrepreneurs will be asking how the users can share in the value creation. We believe in a different way of looking at users on the internet. We developed the following philosophy for AGLOCO and we welcome your comments (philosophy@AGLOCO.com). After all, it’s your company.
10. Members should be ownersThe Members who are the source of value for an internet company should own that company. This brings transparency and rewards the right people who contribute to developing the company.
9. Providers should be stewardsThe providers of a service where Members create the value should act as stewards, not owners. The stewards of the company have a duty to do what is right for the community, and maximize the benefits for the community. The stewards will act in the best interest of the community if the incentive system is aligned.
8. You can make money without changing anything you do The internet currently generates value from nearly everything a user does online. From a simple internet search, to clicking on an ad, to making a purchase, someone is making money from these activities. Our job, as stewards of a large community, is to ensure a fair part of that value is returned to our Members.
7. Privacy is not a nice to have, it is a must have
Our Members privacy is paramount. After all, without our Members, the community would not exist. That is why we will never sell, disclose or give away any or all of our Members’ information. A high level of privacy is far more valuable to the community than any alternative.
6. Trust is everything
The AGLOCO platform can be a gateway for an array of other services developed to provide both monetary and service benefits. Whether early virus and phishing site alerts or simply a trusted information exchange, Members should benefit from such a community.
5. Every single Member benefits
Every Member should benefit in his or her way by joining a trusted community. Whether earning money while surfing, or giving that money away to charity, we believe the platform should represent what the Internet should be: a source of benefit for a large section of the population.
4. Members that own the community should help promote and police it
A user that owns part of the community has more incentive to promote it and keep it free of malicious software and ill-intentioned individuals. We believe that the overwhelming majority of our Members will want to reach out to friends, family and colleagues, as well as protect themselves from scams and pitfalls on the Internet.
3. A community with a shared sense of responsibility
We stray away from advertising and products that are socially unacceptable. We strive to create an active and socially responsible community.
2. A global community
The internet unites the world across cultures, borders and languages. AGLOCO wants to bridge the divide in global understanding and promote itself as a cross cultural, socially aware and responsible community.
1. Free is too expensive (our favorite)
A free service is always great. However, if Members produce what becomes the core value of the company – as we have seen with recent online mega-deals - then we believe Members should receive a good portion of the financial benefit that the company derives.

This approach is new and nobody can predict how it will work out. You can sign up for Agloco for free today, and potentially be a part of a huge global co-operative that will help the average internet user do very well financially, and provide you with residual income with no financial risk. It is well worth spending two minutes to get your name on the list today!!

Agloco Update for Residual Income

I have mentioned Agloco before, a revenue sharing site with long term prospects for passive income and share ownership. Today I received an update from the site owners, who have opened AGLOCO to membership before launching the service. This allows you to reap the rewards of being among the founders and builders of the network. Over 30,000 people have already recruited a least one new Member - I have recruited fifteen new members so far. Initially that figure should give me a minimum passive income of at least $75 per month - it costs me nothing to join. The site is likely to go live within four weeks, or as soon as the Viewbar software is ready for use. The Viewbar will allow Agloco members to surf the net in privacy, safe from spyware, popups or spam. You can sign up free at the Agloco site. Here is a link to sign up (it automatically records me as referring you with my ID BBBK2076. As soon as you are a member you can start telling everyone you know, to build a network of your own. You have nothing to lose and lots to gain!
