So the big house move is now complete and along with it went all the predictable minor dramas. One annoying thing was the gap between the disconnection of the landline at the old address and the connection of the new phone number at the new house. I am not sure how we would have managed without using a mobile phone, and luckily my cordless phone battery stayed fully charged throughout. How did we survive before these gadgets came along?
