Yesterday I got an email from the owners of a new ‘paid to post’ site that promises to pay bloggers the whole of the fee paid by an advertiser for a review of their website. You may not be aware that other ‘paid to blog’ sites that offer advertisers the chance to promote their sites on members’ blogs charge as much as 35 per cent for brokering the deal. The people at RentaBlogger.com believe this money should be passed on to the blogger, and the way they choose to do this is to put the advertiser directly in touch with the blogger. I do see some potential problems here, after reading their statement that they accept no responsibility for anything regarding payment or quality of blog posts.

This is a brand new website and it may do well, who can tell. I think it is in the best interests of bloggers to have a lot of competing paid to post companies in the marketplace, so that bloggers continue to get paid fairly for their efforts. Advertisers can see how these paid blog reviews can boost their page ranking and web traffic, and I hope this new site will do well.
